Granite Polishers by Johnson Machine Shop

Radial Arm Granite Polishing Machines by Johnson Machine are US made granite and marble polishing machines designed to work with granite polishing  wheels up to 18” in diameter. These machines are intended for grinding and polishing granite countertop slabs, granite or marble monuments, or other stone polishing operations. The polisher has totally enclosed Timken and pillow block bearings for long life and ease of use. Main drive motors are 2.5-5 hp.  The polishing head has a vertical lift capability of 4 feet and is powered by a 3/4 hp motor. See specifications below.

Specifications:  
To carry up to a 18” grinding wheel

Suspension Post:
1.Construction of 4” wide flange beam.
2.Bottom bearing – heavy duty Timken roller bearing – totally enclosed in housing.
3.Top bearing is a 1 15/16” pillow block bearing.

Suspension Arm:
1. Constructed of 4” x 4” W.F. beam and 3” channel.
2.2 7/16” front and back beam rollers
3.¾ HP gear reduction motor to raise and lower manual drum switch.
4.Approximately 3ft. to 4ft. of raise and lower.

Suspension Rail:
1.Constructed of 5” channel
2.1 7/16” main shaft.
3.Weight adjustment for increasing pressure on grinding wheel powered by 1/3 HP gear reduction motor.  (Manually operated by drum switch.

Main drive motor:
2 speed motor 2 1/2 HP – 5 HP.
Note:  Support beam to mount suspension post NOT INCLUDED.
Electrical:  All motors to run on 230 volts 3 phase.

Prints and installation instructions will be sent for easy installation.
Machine can be installed in approximately 4 hrs.
